So much for fighting anyone, anywhere, anytime Kimbo! Last night, the Elite XC pulled a quick one on Kimbo when Shamrock, his original opponent, was not allowed to fight due to a recent injury over his eye during practice.
Instead, Kimbo meets Seth Petruzelli, a UFC veteran. Don’t blink, or you might miss the fight. Seth takes out Kimbo in a blink of the eye.
In a measly 10 seconds, Petruzelli disappoints the crowd, and Kimbo’s ego, by taking him out with a kick and a punch. Kimbo, in a daze, doesn’t know what hit him.
As the face of the Elite XC, what does this do for the organization and for the reputation of the meanest fighter to hit the cage-fighting scene?
