There have been rumors flying around the Internet for the last few days suggesting that Lady Gaga is either a man or a hermaphrodite (someone born with the genitalia of both sexes). Can this possibly be true?

I suppose anything is possible. She clearly isn’t a man because she was brought up as a girl and there is no evidence that she’s ever had a sex change. But there could be something in the hermaphrodite claim.

This video, from the 2009 Glastonbury Festival, shows Lady Gaga performing on stage and there’s a definite bulge in the downstairs department. It could be a penis or it could be her panties bunching up. But it definitely raises the question as to her gender.

There’s also a quote being spread around attributed to Lady Gaga in which she admits to being a hermaphrodite, but no one has the original source so that’s pretty much inadmissible as proof.

So, Lady Gaga could be a hermaphrodite but does it really matter at the end of the day?
