Hamilton was a massive hit on the stage, with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical retelling of the American Revolution winning multiple awards during its run on Broadway.
And now Hamilton is coming to the small screen, with a movie version making its debut on Disney+ on July 3rd, 2020.
The film version of Hamilton was originally meant to be released in theaters in 2021. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, it’s coming to Disney+ instead.
The Hamilton movie was put together over the course of three performances in 2016, which means we can all now get to see the original cast telling the story of Alexander Hamilton.
