A man taken in for drunk driving was later charged with assault after directing a fart that was “very odorous; it created contact of an insulting or provoking nature” at a police officer.

Honestly, I think cops get way more crap than they get credit for the amazing things they do, but come on. Assault by fart? Man up.

What’s next – dobbing people in for farting at you? If a policeman can charge someone with assault by fart, then it would only be fair that the rest of us could, too.

If that is the case, I know a few guys who are definitely going to have to lay off the curry…
