Margaret Thatcher, a former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has died after suffering a stroke at the age of 87. This video shows Russia Today reporting the event.
Opinion on Thatcher and what she did for and to the U.K. is very much split. Those who did well under her — starting businesses, buying houses — loved her, but those who lost their jobs, or who otherwise suffered, hated her.
It’s probably never right to celebrate someone’s death, whatever they did when they were alive, but there are many people who aren’t sad to see the self-appointed Iron Lady pass on.
Thatcher is to be given an epic funeral at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
