In the past week, Obama has certainly made some changes. In fact, today he signed “The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act” which finally gave women a solid legal way to prevent unfair wages; something that women have been fighting for for decades.

Now, many people think that Obama might change another policy that has also been on the tips of people’s tongues for decades: the legalization of marijuana.

It’s about time someone made a professional ad for marijuana legalization people from different backgrounds. A doctor, lawyer, student, journalist, teacher, and a politician are certainly more diverse than those rather bias AboveTheInfluence commercials.

In 1937, the Marijuana Tax Stamp Act was passed that prohibited the use and sale or marijuana. A lot of other laws have changed since then, so why not the ones about marijuana? Hats off to NORML.org for creating such an ad contest to raise awareness.
