Last night was “rock night” on Australian Idol, and none rocked harder than Mark Da Costa. The crowd expected big things from the show’s resident rock god, and he didn’t disappoint.

Mark closed the show with an electric version of AC/DC’s High Voltage. It was a great song choice that wowed the judges and patriotic crowd. After all, no Australian rock night is complete without a little Acca Dacca.

Mark shone last night, and there’s no doubt he’ll sail through tonight’s elimination. But with rumors the next theme is “disco,” next week may be a different story. Can this rock star learn to boogie? I guess we’ll soon find out!
