Matthew Bennett turned up to the auditions in Birmingham and immediately pissed the judges off by mocking previous winners Shayne Ward and Leona Lewis.
Simon Cowell looked particularly annoyed, and for good reason too. He is after all the head honcho of the whole X Factor phenomenon and has both Shayne and Leona under his wing.
Matthew is also one of the most arrogant wankers I’ve seen this series. He thinks he’s it, can perform any song, and any style, and so sings a melody of pop hits.
The thing is he’s barely average, and cheesy with it. Louis Walsh says it best when he refers to him as a karaoke singer. In my mind he’s a bad one at that.
It’s a shame he got through, he didn’t deserve it with the cocky attitude he displayed. And some of his mates looked like dodgy gits too. He won’t get far, he’ll prove too unpopular… fingers crossed.
