Let’s face it, as the election draws closer John McCain needs all the help he can get. With just weeks to change the minds of the voting public, perhaps he needs to splash around a few dollars and make some campaign ads we’ll really remember. Like these ones for example.

This video imagines how the campaign might look if some of our favorite Hollywood directors got in on the act. McCain’s campaign is built on his hero credentials, and the John Woo inspired commercial really drives that point home.

And who better to convince the slacker generation to vote for McCain than the spokesperson for disaffected youth, Kevin Smith? Like most Wes Anderson movies, I’m not exactly sure what the final trailer is trying to say. But I like it!
