For those of us not fortunate or not fit enough to have run the Twin Cities Marathon, this video gives a complete overview of the course in under three minutes.

And you won’t even get out of breath watching it.

The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon was held today in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area of Minnesota. This is the area that the marathon takes its name from.

Buzunesh Deba of Ethiopia won the women’s marathon this year in a time of 2:27:24. She beat the second placed runner by a whopping eight minutes, so this anything but a close finish.

The men’s marathon was much closer, however, with Sergio Reyes of California finishing in 2:14:02, just seven seconds ahead of second.

I could probably run this course but it would take me two days rather than two hours. So I think I’ll stick to the car.
