Mike the Midwife has an interesting job. He helps women give birth . . . and he’s a guy, if you haven’t noticed. This is, by far, not the usual gender of a midwife.

I certainly couldn’t be a midwife. I’m just too squeamish. So thank God for people like Mike. I wonder if he’ll travel from the UK to the States when I get pregnant . . . I’d enjoy having a male midwife, I think . . . because I’m certainly not used to the ladies being “down there.”
