We all have fond memories of 80s teen flicks like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Karate Kid. But Michael Swaim and his buddies remind us that these cinematic worlds may not be as idyllic as our nostalgic brains suggest.

In a scene reminiscent from Seinfeld, the pals sit in their local diner and recall the film worlds of these movies, along with those of seminal classics Fast Times at Ridgemont High and The Lost Boys.

I’ve never really warmed to the web offerings of Michael Swaim, but he may have won me over. Or perhaps it’s just my nostalgic film loving brain that has me feeling extra generous.
