I’m a long-time Jeopardy lover. I’ve been watching it every weekday night for years now.
I definitely remember Nancy Grace’s infamous appearance on the Celebrity version of the show. She performs some serious Jeopardy no-nos.
Number one: Don’t argue with Alex Trebek. If he and his judges think you said “flamingo,” you sure as hell said “flamingo.” You also cannot object to the judge’s ruling. This is not a courtroom.
Number two: Only answer after your name has been called by Alex, after you are the first to hit the buzzer. Don’t just mindlessly call out the answer so that the guy from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy can steal your answer.
Number three: Don’t second guess yourself, especially if you’ve fucked up on the first two rules.
And if you screw up on all of these, your name is Nancy Grace.
