Dunkirk, the new movie from Chris Nolan, is getting rave reviews across the interwebs. So much so that it’s currently got a 98% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, not everyone loves Dunkirk, as this video review from Jeremy Jahns shows. He really isn’t a fan, and found the whole thing rather boring.
Dunkirk shows what happened when the Germans pushed the British back to the coast of France at the start of World War II. The soldiers faced certain annihilation until they were bravely rescued.
I’m not sure what Jahns was expecting. This is a real-life story, and that comes with certain limitations.
If the story had been sexed up we could have ended up with another Pearl Harbor, possibly the worst film Michael Bay has ever made, and no one wants that!
