The Runaways were an all-girl rock band from the 70’s that composed of many female rock legends (Joan Jett, The Bangles). Even though they only lasted as a band for four years, they went through quite a lot.
Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning will play two of the band members and even possibly sing some songs in the movie.
I’m not a Twilight fan, but having seen other films that Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were in, I know that they are both great actresses. You can’t really take on an opinion about the film from this teaser trailer, though, it’s easy to see that it’ll be light-hearted.
Kristen will be playing the legendary Joan Jett and Dakota will play Cherie Currie (who eventually became an actress to co-star with Demi Moore and Jodie Foster).gh
