I never understood all the fuss about Quarterlife. Sure, it’s the first web series to move to TV and it’s by the creators of ‘My So-Called Life’, but have you actually seen an episode of Quarterlife? It’s pretty damn boring.
Luckily, there’s a new web series that knows so too. It’s called ‘2/8 Life’ and it’s here to kick Quaterlife’s ass.
Much like Quarterlife, the show focuses around a group of twenty-somethings (Angela, Rayanne, Brian and Jordan) who live with some interesting roommates. The main character Angela plays a great knock off of Dylan and pokes fun at her obliviousness.
Although only the first spoof episode has been released, new episodes are planned to be uploaded each Monday on the new Independent Comedy Network.
‘2/8 Life’ Episode 1
This is the very first episode of 2/8 Life. Even though it’s about half as long as most Quarterlife episodes, I found it to be about 5X more entertaining. I wouldn’t be surprised if this show became more popular than the original.
