With a diet that is rich with carefully prepared food, a lot of seafood and fresh vegetables, women in Japan enjoy a very low 3% obesity rate – compared to the 34% obesity rate of women in the United States.

All I have to say is: Hallelujah! I’m losing weight at the moment and I absolutely love Japanese style food.

Having such evidence showing that Japanese style diet as beneficial definitely makes my day. Any excuse for more sashimi!

I just wish the US had more of a cafe culture where they could have more of a chance to be exposed to these beautiful foods. Many are, but too many aren’t…
