I must admit I never watched the original Power Ranger television show, because as a kid it looked kinda ridiculous to me.
But this, this I could watch. It’s dark, broody, sweary, and clearly intended for an adult audience. It’s Power Rangers for the Transformers crowd.
What is this, exactly? It’s a short fan film of the Power Rangers. Except it has a budget, and real actors, and some impressive CGI.
Produced by Adi Shankar, and directed by Joseph Kahn, this is Power/Rangers, which is very different from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers we know from a decade ago. And I for one enjoyed it.
