Niagara Falls Tightrope Walk Video | Nik Wallenda Stunt At Canadian Landmark

26 sec read

This video shows self-appointed daredevil Nik Wallenda walking tightrope across Niagara Falls. Color me unimpressed.

Nik Wallenda traversed the skies above Niagara Falls, bridging the 1,800-foot gap between the two sides of the gorge. He did so with the aid of a harness, which you can clearly see in the video.

The presence of the safety harness that would have caught Wallenda in the event of him falling means this wasn’t all that dangerous. People performed this stunt centuries ago without taking such precautions.

Could I have done this, with or without a safety harness? No, of course not, I’m both technically and mentally incapable of such a feat. But that doesn’t mean I’m impressed by the guy who can and did do it.
