Edward Kennedy, better known as Ted, was a member of the famous Kennedy family and a United States senator. He died on August 25 and his funeral was held in Boston on Saturday (Aug. 28).

This video shows Barack Obama giving his eulogy to the late Democratic senator, who at the time of his death had been an elected member of the senate for 46 years, making him the third longest serving senator of all time.

Barack Obama is a great public speaker, which is probably the main reason for him getting elected in such a arousing manner last year. His Ted Kennedy eulogy shows his skills off, being both touching and heartfelt.

Obama called Kennedy “the greatest legislator of our time.” Obama also split his eulogy between praising Kennedy’s political achievements and some more personal stories. Which was a breath of fresh air.
