When Jeremy Redleaf created the site Odd Job Nation months ago, he had no idea that he was starting his own little revolution. By allowing registered users of his site to find and post odd jobs he also got a boost in views for his web series (which was the original reason for the domain).

This comedic web series may be fictional, but it’s a reality for many laid-off Americans today.

Odd Job Nation focuses on Nate (played by Jeremy), a well-off investment banker and Joe, his unemployed veteran roommate. When Nate suddenly gets laid off he finds himself doing odd jobs with Joe to hold up his lavish lifestyle that his girlfriends expects from him.

As we all know, work-for-hire Craigslist adventures aren’t exclusive to Nate and Joe. Many fans of the show are also registered users that find/post odd jobs regularly on the site. For this reason, one can only expect a uniquely strong success for both the Odd Job Nation series and community.

Episode 1

In this first episode Nate is fired from his job in the most ridiculous manner and eventually gives in to trying an odd job with Joe.
