Gringo is a new action comedy, albeit one with a very dark heart, starring David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton, Amanda Seyfried, Thandie Newton, and Sharlto Copley.
It shows what happens when a middle manager heads off to Mexico and gets captured by the cartel. Which, if you hadn’t already guessed, is no one’s idea of fun.
Gringo is getting mixed reviews, but the only way you ever really know if you want to see a film is by watching the trailer. And this one has intrigued me.
By the end of it I want to know what happens to all of the main characters, which is surely the point of any and all movie trailers.
