House Of Cards is now available to watch, at least for Netflix subscribers. This is the trailer for the new Netflix original series starring Kevin Spacey, and it looks pretty damn good.
Netflix has funded the creation of this show rather than buying it from another company after it’s already aired on television. Rather than release one episode a week the whole series is there, ready and waiting, on Netflix.
As some people have already noted, the ability to watch all 13 episodes of House Of Cards in one sitting means there’s a strong chance you’ll learn what happens before you reach the end. All it will take is one small mention on a social networking site.
Still, that’s one negative amid a host of positives. In many ways House Of Cards shows the way we’ll be consuming television in the future: when and where we want to without the need to bow down to the cable overlords.
