If you’re female and between the ages of 14 and 21 then this video will probably do something to you that no man could – excite you for hours on end. It shows the official trailer for New Moon, the second movie in the Twilight series.

Not being either female or between 14 and 21, I’m not quite so full of anticipation for yet another teenage vampire movie. Been there, done that, next! Unfortunately for me there are another two books getting turned into movies.

Maybe I’m being harsh – the Twilight movies have a place in the world like any other movies do. But isn’t it a little boring to see a moody blood-sucking teenager skulking round the place because he’s in love with a mere mortal?

New Moon does add a bit of variety, with Bella turning away from Edward and finding solace in the arms of Jacob, who, it turns out, is a werewolf. Of course he is, what else? Now you know the plot you don’t need to see the movie. Surely.
