When I first heard someone was making The LEGO Movie I wondered what on earth they’d been smoking when they conceived of such a thing. But the first trailer has landed and has me sold on the film already.

This short teaser trailer for The LEGO Movie introduces the main characters — of which there are a lot — a hint of the plot, and how the whole thing comes together.

I’m blown away by how good The LEGO Movie looks, and the animators have done a fine job bringing this world of blocky bricks to life.

Expect many of your favorite characters from other films to pitch up in this one, with Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman all included. I’m in.
