Miley Cyrus has a new song out. It’s called Wrecking Ball, and it has an accompanying music video causing a lot of controversy around the Internets and beyond.
Mainly because Cyrus appears nude in it. But you don’t really see anything.
Casting a totally objective eye over the music video, it isn’t actually at all bad. And the song is also pretty damn catchy, certainly as much as anything by Gaga or Jessie J. Both of whom Cyrus is clearly mimicking to a certain degree.
The fact is Cyrus is trying to morph from child star into mature singer. And between the MTV VMAs twerking and this Terry Richardson-directed music she’s certainly grabbing the headlines.
