Because consistently cheerful people with a constant positive outlook on life are just plain annoying.

Frankly, I’m surprised alcohol wasn’t mentioned as a ‘natural’ depressant.

Ah, the Onion News Network. Nothing is too sacred to make fun of when they are around… They probably hold the record for how many times I’ve watched a video and thought, “I wish I would have thought of that.”

Thankfully, I am not close to anyone who is incessantly perky. I don’t know if I would be able to handle that. Maybe I’d just point them to this video.
