Online Romance Scams Video | Nigerian Scammers Target Ladies Looking for Love

25 sec read

Before watching this video I thought I could spot a Nigerian scammer from his e-mails claiming to be royalty or the father of a dying child. But apparently those online con artists have a new weapon targeting some of the internet’s most vulnerable: people looking for love.

The latest craze in online duping is the romance scam. The felons find the image of a sexy man online, assume his identity, and then proceed to woo women out of thousands of dollars.

There’s no denying that this scheme looks pretty slick, but I can’t imagine forking out cash for a virtual crush. If a man can’t support himself, no matter how good looking he is, he instantly becomes pretty unattractive to me!
