A lot has been made of Barack Obama’s pledge to redistribute wealth, with his supporters thinking it’s high time for such an endeavour and his detractors believing him to be a socialist.
Here, at a rally in Iowa, John McCain’s second in command Sarah Palin, spells out her vision of some kind of communist state under Obama.
Personally, I find her speech bizarre, and the whole notion that redistribution of wealth means communism utterly wrong.
Communism involves keeping everyone down at the same level, whereas Obama just wants to see everyone have the same chance of succeeding. There’s a big difference.
The most shocking part of this video comes when a member of the crowd shouts “because he’s a ni**er” in response to Palin mentioning work ethics.
I can’t wait to see the person’s face who shouted that when Obama becomes the first black President of the USA on November 4th.
