Most of us know that the photographs we see in magazines are manipulated, and “cleaned up” to some degree. Usually, this entails smoothening out wrinkles and laugh lines, obliterating cellulite, hiding blemishes, eliminating stray hairs and whitening teeth.
This video makes you wonder if you can ever trust what you see. It’s no wonder that many girls today have a warped idea of attractiveness, and thus their own appearance. Airbrush perfect models are palmed off as “real” and are the yardstick that people compare themselves to.
The video threatens to cross the border from “interesting” to “disturbing.” It’s unlikely that people know of the extent of dramatic changes that a little computer know-how can bring about. Perhaps videos like this can help us change our skewed perception of beauty.
