With the state of the airline industry and their new practice of nickle and diming customers, now you can also be on a plane while it is struck by lightning for the low, low price of $50/person.

Ok, not really, but I thought that would be pretty funny. Either way, this is really insane video footage of a lightning bolt going in one end of the plane and out of the other.

I’m surprised it didn’t make it explode or just plop right out of the sky. It is just a conductor, I suppose. But isn’t that much energy supposed to send you back to the future, so to speak.

Well, at least I can say that these passengers got more than they paid for while flying, which is a rare occurrence.
