I have nothing against gay people, but I have to say that after watching this video I’m convinced that Spongebob is never going to get a girl. The “I’m ugly and I’m proud!” euphemism is almost too obvious.

Sure, I’m not part of their target audience (10 year olds that watch Saturday morning cartoons), but I still enjoy the show’s subtle humor. If you pay attention closely to certain episodes (especially the older ones), adults can clearly see some subliminal messages.

Even though a few of my peers are convinced that Spongebob is really a 20 year-old single gay guy who works at a fast food restaurant and enjoys singing songs amongst rainbows, I just like to think of him as a funny little sponge.

On a side note, this year marks the 10th anniversary that Spongebob has been on the air.
