Queen & Slim is a new movie directed by Melina Matsoukas and starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith, two British actors playing African-Americans.

Queen & Slim covers a lot of different genres, but is mostly a road movie based around a romance between the two lead characters.

The couple get pulled over by a cop after their first date. And when things go awry, they’re forced to go on the run from the police.

Queen & Slim should appeal to a lot of different people, all of whom will likely get something different out of it. Which should ensure commercial success to go with the critical acclaim.
