The Australian music industry is reeling after the shock death of The Models’ front man, James Freud. Following a long battle with alcoholism, Freud committed suicide in his Melbourne home. He was just 51 years old.

This video for the band’s biggest hit “Out of Mind, Out of Sight” reminds us of the band in happier times. In 1985 the song reached number 1 on the Australian charts, number 3 in New Zealand, and number 22 in the United States.

It’s always sad to lose a talented musician like James, and even more tragic when it’s at his own hands. He will be missed.
