This is Friday by Rebecca Black, possibly the worst song ever recorded. I know she’s only 13-years-old but I’m pretty sure my cat could have written more inspiring lyrics.

Anyone who has heard what I’ve had to say about Justin Bieber in the past would know I’m the last person who he’d turn to for salvation. But comparing this talentless twat to Bieber is beyond the pale.

Bieber can at least hold a note and has an innate likability that anyone under the age of 15 can see (even though it’s invisible to the rest of us). But Rebecca Black? She has nothing whatsoever to like about her.

I know Black is 13 and it’s a little unkind to judge her, but she chose to record a song and make a video so she also has to accept any criticism that comes her way. And she’s probably going to become rich and famous off the back of it, so what do I care?
