Here at Web TV Hub, we can’t get enough redneck videos. So when I heard there’s a Redneck Olympics, I just had to share the footage.

The Redneck Olympics are held every year in a little town called East Dublin, Georgia. It doesn’t look like much else happens in sleepy old East Dublin, which is why the local Olympics is such a big deal.

It’s a lot like your World Olympics really, with a few important differences. Instead of lighting an Olympic flame, the folks of East Dublin light a barbecue. Of course they had to light something – they’re rednecks.

The events are a little different too. The rednecks don’t throw shotputs, but they do throw toilet seats. There’s no swimming either. Instead they belly flop into a mud pit. And bobbing for pigs’ feet is so uniquely redneck I can’t compare it to anything I’ve seen before.

It’s no Beijing, but East Dublin’s Olympics are something special.
