Cheryl Holdridge, one of the original Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeers, has sadly died of lung cancer at the age of 64. She appeared on the show in the 1950s along with others such as Annette Funicello.

This video features some of the original line-up, and highlights from an early show. Funicello introduces the piece and it also features people talking about their remembrances of the show.

Holdridge was a very popular Mouseketeer in her day, coming a close second to Funicello in the popularity stakes. Unlike others, Cheryl also found work after leaving The Mickey Mouse Club.

She guest-starred on programs such as My Three Sons, Bewitched, and The Dick Van Dyke Show. Rest In Peace, Cheryl Holdridge. Your early television career is sure to live on in the hearts and minds of millions.
