There is still little known about the Royal Freight Learjet that crashed outside Chicago Executive airport after being cleared for landing.

Despite being cleared for landing and the weather not presenting anything that should have prevented Royal Air Freight Flight 988 from a clear landing, the plane still crashed.

The two suspected occupants of the learjet are feared dead, though there has been no confirmation as to the number of people on board or if any have been killed.

No doubt a serious investigation will take place into the events surrounding this crash, given the strange circumstances.
