The CW has cast Ruby Rose as Batwoman, a choice which has split opinion. Not that you’d know so from this IGN video, as they clearly love Ruby Rose.
Ruby Rose is an Australian actress best known for Orange Is the New Black. However, she’s now set to play Kate Kane AKA Batwoman, on the Arrowverse.
Most complaints to her casting point to her being a terrible actress, although a few have also suggested she’s only being cast as the lesbian Batwoman because she’s also a lesbian.
Either way, Ruby Rose IS Batwoman, and The CW is rumored to be developing a whole series based around the character.
