Throughout the presidential race I had two questions about republican running mate Sarah Palin. Why is she there? And who is supporting her? I’m still bewildered by the first, but this video helps answer the second.

I’d hoped that by stepping down from her post as Governor as Alaska, Sarah would make a hasty retreat into the background. Not a chance. Now she’s trying to convince us that she has the brainpower to craft a memoir.

And who’d buy a book penned by Palin? People like this bunch. People who follow her blindly, despite having no clue about her policies. Suddenly everything makes sense.
