If you’re a celebrity who ends up in the news for the wrong reasons these days you first have to deal with the media wanting to know every sordid little detail and then you have to deal with seeing the story spoofed on Saturday Night Live.

Which is exactly how Tiger Woods’ last ten days have gone. This video shows the SNL skit, which comes in the form of CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. Kenan Thompson plays Tiger Woods and guest host Blake Lively took on the role of his wife Elin.

There’s no doubting the sketch is funny, with multiple press conferences being shown where Tiger keeps saying the wrong thing and Elin responding with violence.

However, how appropriate is it to mock domestic violence? If the roles were reversed and Tiger was being accused of beating Elin up then there would be various organizations up in arms over this skit.

It doesn’t help that Rihanna was the musical guest, a woman who has experienced domestic violence at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
