I love fireworks, especially organized displays where thousands of pounds are spent. The only problem is they can go on too long and be a little dull…

…No such problem here, as the Oban Community Fireworks Display lasted under one minute. Thanks to a technical hitch the 20-minute show took just 50 seconds. And this is how it looked.

The organizers of the display have apologized, and the company which messed up with the fireworks is offering a free show later in the month. Which is generous seeing as most people were happy with what they saw.

I’m wondering whether this will start a new trend. Perhaps more fireworks displays will last under a minute but be spectacular and entertaining. Because too many are eked out for too long and end up being dull and boring.
