I’m really not a fan of elevators. I will avoid them if at all possible, only gingerly stepping in one when the alternative is a very long walk up multiple flights of stairs.

Luckily, I’ve never got stuck in an elevator. But if I would I’d probably go a little insane, being a little claustrophobic. Yet this guy manages to stay trapped for 40 hours without losing it, and we get to see how he copes.

The video shows the guy’s 40 hour session trapped in an elevator in a time lapse lasting just three minutes. It’s strangely compelling to see what he does with all that time on his hands – mostly napping and trying the doors.

It’s a tiny elevator and I really don’t think I could have remained as calm and collected as this guy does. I’d be hammering on the doors, screaming at the top of my lungs, and make stupid attempts at escaping – possibly through the roof.
