Disney has a new, live-action version of Beauty and the Beast coming out next year, and the first trailer has already dropped online.
It’s not so much a trailer as a teaser, with only brief glimpses of a couple of the characters and sets. This is clearly designed to set the mood more than anything.
It works though, as the sumptuous visuals and haunting voiceover combine to create a mesmerizing atmosphere.
Beauty and the Beast is due to be released on March 17, 2017, and if this first teaser trailer is anything to go on, it should prove to be a triumph.
