Metallica are back, with a brand new album due out on November 18. The album, titled Hardwired… To Self-Destruct, has been eight years in the making, so the fans are expecting something special.
This is the official music video for Hardwired, the first single to be released from the album. And it’s… good, to say the least.
Hardwired is unlikely to nab Metallica many new fans. However, for those of us who like the Metallica songs of old — hard, fast, and thrashy — Hardwired is a return to form.
Even the music video is reminiscent of earlier times, with all the pretentious crap stripped away in favor of a view of the band playing, albeit with some unique visuals.
