On the surface Take This Waltz appears like so many introspective talky indie films. However there are a few reasons to take a look at Sarah Polley’s latest flick.
The first is clearly Polley herself, who brought us the award-winning Away From Her. Then there’s Michelle Williams, who seems incapable of choosing a bad film or delivering a bad performance.
But perhaps I’m most interested to see both Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman take on some dramatic roles. Rogen’s skirted around drama with some of his more moving comedies, but this is something even meatier for him.
Take This Waltz hits American cinemas in June.
