Tenacious D are in the news again as they have announced they’re heading out on a summer tour in support of their new album Rize of the Fenix.
Tenacious D are a very visual band, as can be seen by this clip from their film The Pick Of Destiny. The song is good on its own but it’s awesome when you add Jack Black and Kyle Gass acting like idiots into the mix.
This song is the first performed with the power of the Pick of Destiny. Hence how awesome Tenacious D are. They create drums from out of nowhere, change costumes several times, and generally blow the crowd away.
This is probably my favorite scene from The Pick Of Destiny barring the end scene which sees them face off against the devil. If you like it then I thoroughly recommend getting hold of the film on DVD or Blu-ray.
