And there we all were thinking Rebecca Black was the worst singer alive, with the worst songs that contained the most-banal lyrics. We were wrong.
This is Double Take, a duo who are really creative and intelligent and quick-witted. Just look at their name for proof. Because there are two of them, and you’ll look twice because they’re so damn hot. Hence Double Take. Brilliant.
This song, Hot Problems, is all about how hot girls have problems too, the only difference between them and us (I’m sadly not a hot girl) is that they’re hot. Simples. The lyrics make Friday look like a Shakespeare sonnet, the delivery makes Black sound like Whitney.
The best and worst thing about this video is the fact these two girls aren’t hot. They’re just squeaky-voiced, airbrushed teenagers with chips on their shoulders. Which makes the whole thing even more ludicrous.
