In most countries we’re only subjected to the really bad Idol hopefuls during the audition stage. But in The Netherlands, they keep these tone-deaf individuals around a little longer.
These eight extremely bad singers are the half-time “entertainment” at this football match. To make the situation that much crueler, they’re singing Simply the Best.
It’s painful to watch, but you’ve got to admire their enthusiasm. I particularly enjoy Herman, who shows off some of the craziest dance moves I’ve ever seen.
But the covered ears of the majority of the audience say it all. Perhaps next year we could treat them to the Idols that can actually sing?
