The clip is taken from a Japanese TV show, and we all know how strange those can get. Here we see an instance of love between two different species: a cat and a hamster. Perhaps it’s a classic case of forbidden love, courtesy of Romeo and Juliet.

This video is likely to be a little mindboggling, particularly when you remember that cats and rodents are natural enemies, and the inherent reaction of the cat would be to gobble up his little friend. Still, you can’t help but go “Awwww!” at the overload of cuteness.
